Truth be told I’ve never been out of my home state all my life, mainly cause all my family lives in the state, and my family has never really had the money for trips outside the state.
Ah. My dad was military so we moved around a ton the first 15 years of my life. I’ve had the good fortune to travel around to a few different continents too.
Wow, I always wondered what it was like moving all over the place due to your parents work. I honestly envied it cause my family would often talk about our collective fantasy to move some place bigger, not that our house is small by any means. I never really had the same worries as kids on TV and movies “losing friends” and all that, mainly to the fact I didn’t make any close friends growing up, not for lack of trying mind you.
You ever have that were you lose freinds you made at your then current hometown? Have you ever tried reconnecting with them through social media?
pretty much only ever traveled out of state back when grandparents were more active (and now only one left @_@). Still go to mom’s for christmas and thanksgiving though, but thats only like 20 minutes away
