I do sometimes wonder if the programmers of X-Com built in a faulty accuracy percentage display just to mess with the players. It’s always seemed alot worse than the RNG-fest from games like SRW.
I do sometimes wonder if the programmers of X-Com built in a faulty accuracy percentage display just to mess with the players. It’s always seemed alot worse than the RNG-fest from games like SRW.
The sheer number of times I missed point blank 90% hit chances in both the old and new versions of that game. I’ve gone full auto and hit every thing but what I was aiming for. The AOE weapons hit better but destroy any cover and could kill you in the process.
If it’s not 100%, it’s a miss.
99% to hit , resting the barrel opening on it’s face, miss with the entire burst… (happened while playing)
you know, since your in the neighborhood of alien fighting games, why not give Phoenix point a try? Its also a squad based tactics game, uses a realistic ballistic system (no percentile, if its in the circle of the shot, that bullet will be in that range), research tree, etc and it just got a dlc.
